Christian is the Founder of Macro-Link Agency LLC, a hedge fund talent business. He was a Managing Director at Société Générale for two years, and before that he was at Goldman Sachs for 14 years, with assignments in New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. Christian started his career with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in 1994. He graduated from NYU with an MBA, and he graduated from the University California, Davis, with a BA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
Drew is currently a partner at Appaloosa Management L.P. He previously worked at Peloton Partners, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch. He graduated with a B.A. in History from Princeton University, where he also played varsity lacrosse and was part of the school's a cappella group.
Chelsea Jia is Chief of Staff of MoneyLion, the award-winning mobile finance platform that incentivizes millions of Americans to borrow, save, and invest better through proprietary AI-driven tools. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Dartmouth College. She started her career in equity capital markets and trading in Hong Kong with Deutsche Bank and Wellington Management Company before moving back home to New York City.
Michael, agent and co-owner of Concerted Efforts, has been working in the music business for over 30 years. At the helm of the agency since 2009, he has worked closely with career artists as well as nurtured the careers of up-and-comers from small clubs to international acclaim.
Rob has over 20 years of experience in philanthropy. As a Development Director, he raised funds from leading New York City foundations and ultimately joined the Robin Hood Foundation, where he worked for five years. At Robin Hood he came to understand the power of engaged philanthropy and the importance of measurable impact. Prior to launching Goodnation, Rob consulted with high-performing nonprofits on fund development and strategic planning issues. Rob has an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BA in English Literature from McGill University.
Emma led the creative team that introduced the iPhone and the App Store to the world. She also oversaw marketing communications across all channels, including Apple Stores, online and video. Before Golden Arm, Emma served as a creative consultant to organizations in numerous ways, from leading workshops to serving as Creative Director on high-profile product launches and rebranding efforts to acting as a liaison between companies and their agencies.
Goodnation employs a structure termed a contract hybrid, consisting of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Goodnation Foundation and a social enterprise, Goodnation Philanthropy Advisors.
The two entities maintain independent boards of directors and agree to collaborate on a shared mission of attracting resources to tackle our country's and communities’ toughest challenges.
Goodnation Foundation directs all donations according to the wishes of donors and in accordance with its mission.
Goodnation Philanthropy Advisors builds, staffs and supports the Goodnation platform in order to meet the needs of donors.
